Work order tracking for a field service team

An app that collects work requests from calls and messages, assigns them in one place and tracks their status.

Example scenarios

The cases on this page are example scenarios that show how we work. They are not real client work or measured results. Real projects we have permission to publish will be added and marked as such.

Situation

Picture a team that serves customers on site. Requests arrive by phone, in chat groups and by email, and someone hands the jobs to technicians by hand.

Problem

Nobody is sure who is on which job, the same job can go to two people, and one can be forgotten. When a customer asks where their job stands, the answer depends on a few phones.

Approach

  1. 01

We map the process as it is

Where requests come from, who assigns them, how a job gets closed. Before changing the flow, we write it down as it runs and find where it breaks.

  2. 02

We keep work orders in one place

Every request becomes a work order: who is assigned, its status, when it closed. Technicians see their own jobs on their phone.

  3. 03

We connect it to your tools

We link it to systems you already use, such as customer records or invoicing, so data isn't typed twice.

What you receive

  • Work order app
  • Assignment and status tracking

How success is measured

We pick measures together at the start, such as the number of unassigned jobs and the time it takes to close one. In a real project we compare them before and after the system.
